At the end of May, The Washington Center will welcome over 550 college students who will be participating in our Summer 2011 Academic Program which runs from May 31st - August 5th. We have many outstanding pre-law students from all over the country who are interested in working and learning from a law office within the D.C. Metro area.

Please keep in mind that by working with The Washington Center, you can rest assured that your organization is in compliance with Federal policy that governs unpaid internships. TWC's comprehensive integrated academic internship program falls under the exception to the FLSA described by DOL. In addition TWC is recognized by the District of Columbia Education Licensure Commission, the agency responsible for the authorization of institutions of higher education operating in Washington, as an organization that provides an educational experience in collaboration with colleges and universities located outside of D.C.
